Yes. If you donate through Betterplace, Betterplace issues the receipt automatically. For other donations of up to €300, German tax offices accept your bank statement or payment record (for example from PayPal) together with our simplified donation receipt (PDF). From €300 — or whenever you would like one — we are happy to issue a donation receipt. Just write to info@aluna-tierhilfe.org with your name and postal address.

Yes, alongside general support you can give to individual projects. You'll find the current ones under “Projects”.

In five steps: contact, questionnaire, home check, adoption contract & fee, and finally transport & arrival. All the details are under “How adoption works”.

The adoption fee covers part of the cost of neutering, vaccinations, tests and transport. It flows back into animal welfare and helps the next dog.

We arrange adoptions together with our partner association Hundeblicke e.V. That way both people and dogs benefit from experienced support.

In a climate-controlled vehicle that follows a set route with several stops. Your dog travels microchipped, vaccinated and with complete papers. All the details are in “How transport works”.

A sturdy crate, a safety harness, two leads, the adoption contract and your ID. Puppy pads or towels are a helpful extra tip.

No. This website has no database, no login and uses no cookies. There are no forms — you reach us by email or through fillable PDF documents that you send to us yourself. Your data is therefore held only in our email inbox and in the association's records, not on the web server.

We only load the Betterplace donation form once you actively click it (“click to load”). Before that, no connection to Betterplace is made. The donation itself is handled by Betterplace — we don't process any of your data in the process.
