Step 1 – Get in touch with us or our partner association
You've fallen for one of our dogs? Then contact the person listed with that dog. Tell us about yourself and your home — together we'll find out whether you're a match.
Adoption process
Adopting a rescue dog is a decision for life — for you and for the dog. So that the two of you truly fit together in the end, we support every adoption with care. Here you can see, step by step, what the path looks like from first interest to the arrival of your dog.
You've fallen for one of our dogs? Then contact the person listed with that dog. Tell us about yourself and your home — together we'll find out whether you're a match.
In the questionnaire you tell us about your daily life, your living situation and your experience with dogs. It's not a test — it helps us find the right dog for you and give that dog a home it can stay in. You'll receive the form as a PDF after your first contact.
During a personal visit we get to know you and your home and look together at where your future dog will live. This is how we make sure everything fits — for your safety and for the dog's.
With the adoption contract we both commit to your dog's wellbeing. The adoption fee covers part of the cost of neutering, vaccinations, tests and transport — it flows straight back into animal welfare and helps the next dog.
Now the best stage begins: the journey to you. Your dog arrives microchipped, vaccinated and with complete papers in a climate-controlled vehicle. You can read exactly how this works and what to bring to the pick-up in How transport works.
