Bitter is a Labrador mix, a neutered male, born 06/2018. He has lived in the shelter since 06/2022 and has come to enjoy his walks. He loves water and gets on very well with the female dog he shares his kennel with.
Bitter is a Labrador mix, a neutered male, born 06/2018. He has lived in the shelter since 06/2022.
At first Bitter was afraid of everything, especially of people and of being taken out for a walk. He would press himself into the corner of the kennel, make himself as small as he could and hope not to be hit, something he probably knew only too well from his past. But by now he looks forward to his walks and to the attention of the volunteers, which are the highlights of his day in the shelter. In the kennel he is very calm and spends most of the day lying in the sun. Bitter loves water: once he is in the dog pool, it becomes difficult to get him out again.
He currently shares a kennel with a female dog and gets on very well with her.
Bitter does not know life in a house. It is easy to imagine that a female dog that is already there would be a great help to him while he settles in.
