Brown

Brown is a mixed-breed male, born on 30 September 2025. At the end of February 2026 he was 43 cm tall; he will be medium-sized to large.

Brown has a congenital malformation on his nose. It does not affect him and is only a small cosmetic flaw.

Brown turned up in a field together with his five siblings; unfortunately there was no sign of their mum. It is thought that the puppies were abandoned once they were a little bigger. On 11 January 2026 he came to the shelter with his siblings.

When he arrived, Brown was the most fearful of his siblings. He froze with fear in the kennel and hid his head. He has become a little more trusting and now and then sniffs at a hand. When his siblings seek affection, he comes along, but then withdraws again.

He urgently needs a family who will look after him and help him overcome his fear. At the shelter he does not get enough attention; unfortunately there is not the time there to care for him as he would need.

Brown is sweet and well-behaved, but unfortunately very shy. He gets along well with all other dogs; he is afraid of cats. He travels well in the car; walking on a lead still needs practice.
