John is an exceptionally friendly, outgoing and people-oriented Labrador. He is fit, playful and gets along with all dogs, including males.

John is a male Labrador Retriever, 8 years old (as of 10/2026). He has been tested for Mediterranean diseases, and the result is negative.

John was surrendered to the shelter by his breeder. There he has shown himself to be an exceptionally friendly, outgoing and people-oriented dog. He is fit, playful and still has plenty of zest for life and energy for his age. John loves contact with people as much as with other dogs and gets along with all dogs, including males. He gets on very well with both females and males.

On walks he is still a little excited at first. He probably didn't experience much everyday life outside his familiar surroundings during his time with the breeder. After a while, however, he calms down and is a pleasant walking companion who is easy to handle and already walks nicely on a lead.

John would love a loving home where he can settle in as a full member of the family. Ideal would be people who enjoy walks together and give him security and routine.

He is no "senior on the sofa" but an active Labrador in the prime of life who still wants to experience a lot.
