Kevin

Kevin is a neutered mixed-breed male, born 10/2021. He is approx. 55 cm tall and has a short tail. He has been tested for Mediterranean diseases, all negative.

Kevin was found alone in the countryside and came to the shelter on 17 June 2022. There he lived in the large group and had no problems with any other dog. He was a sweet, friendly, playful, unafraid dog who would love an active family. Kevin is a wonderful, lovable, friendly and submissive dog who would so love to please his people. He spent more than three years at the shelter. Who will give Kevin a home?

Since 10 January 2026, Kevin has been living with a foster family in Germany. His foster family reports: Kevin craves affection, but is still quite insecure. He is still very afraid of anything loud, and he sometimes still grumbles at strangers out of insecurity. Indoors and in the garden he still barks a lot out of insecurity, but he learns quickly, can be calmed down and sent to his place.

He gets along very well with the foster family's female dog and with other dogs outdoors. He can already stay home alone with her. So far, also out of insecurity, he only does his business in the garden. Everything is still scary for him and he still has a lot to learn; after all, he spent a very long time at the shelter. He has not yet been tested with cats.

Kevin needs people who give him support and a sense of security, and he will become a great buddy and protector.
