Saxo

Saxo is a neutered Bodeguero male, born on 23 July 2021, 43 cm tall and weighing approx. 10 kg. He arrived at the shelter on 30 August 2024. He has tested negative for leishmaniasis.

Saxo's owner had died, and people who occupied the house threw him out onto the street. For several months he roamed the streets of a small village until he came to the shelter.

Saxo is a friendly, sociable and affectionate dog, a little shy at first but not fearful. He is an active dog, like all Bodegueros. He walks well on a lead and travels well in the car. He is not good with cats.

In the pack, Saxo had problems with some males and therefore lived separately with a female in a separate enclosure. He gets along very well with females. Saxo now lives in the large group. He is a friendly, sweet, affectionate and sociable dog who gets along with all the others, now with males too.
