Toto

Toto is about 5–6 years old (as of 10/2026) and is still living in the shelter in Romania. He is sweet and gentle, shy and cautious.

His past was anything but easy. He has probably been through terrible things, which is why he cannot yet fully trust people.

Despite everything, Toto shows his wonderful character: he lets himself be touched carefully, is never aggressive and would never bite. He is simply shy and insecure and needs people who show him with patience, love and understanding that life has beautiful sides, too.

For Toto, a calm home is sought where he can settle in at his own pace, with people who do not pressure him but give him the time to build trust. With every small experience he will grow braver and discover how wonderful a safe and cared-for dog’s life can be.

Perhaps his person is out there waiting for him – someone who looks beyond his insecurity and finally gives him the love he so deserves. Who will give Toto the chance of a new beginning?
